Salicylaldehyde was identified as a characteristic aroma component of buckwheat. It is also one of the components of castoreum, the exudate from the castor sacs of the mature North American beaver (Castor canadensis) and the European beaver (Castor fiber), used in perfumery.

Light initiator (photoinitiator), also known as photosensitizer (photosensitizer) or light curing agent (photocuring agent), is a kind of chemical compounds which can absorb certain wavelengths of energy, produce free radical and cationic in the uv region (250 ~ 420 nm) or visible light area (400 ~ 800 nm) to initiation of monomer polymerization crosslinking curing.

– It is an important intermediate for basic dyes and is used in the production of basic brilliant blue B and basic brilliant blue R. – Adhesives and sealants, coating products, inks and toners, paper chemicals and dyes and polymers – Used as dye intermediate
– Use as Photoinitiator in UV-curable coatings and inks , Acrylic paint, Wood coating, Offset printing ink, Flexo ink
– Screen printing ink, Plastic coating, Copy varnish, Printing ink ,Circuit Printing ink etc..

It is used in certain perfumes, fabric conditioner , an aroma enhancer in pipe tobaccos and certain alcoholic drinks, in the pharmaceutical industry , precursor reagent in the synthesis of a number of synthetic anticoagulant pharmaceuticals , an edema modifier , dye lasers, a sensitizer in older photovoltaic technologies.
